SOLD – 1937 MG SA Tickford Coupe

Price: $20,000 USD (or best offer) | Country: Canada | Contact: trevor.d.a.townsend@gmail.com

Rare 1937 SA Tickford Coupe (only 696 built between 1936- 1939!). in original condition looking for an MG enthusiast for a complete restoration. Has most of its original parts which can be viewed in available photos upon request. The original engine was replaced in 1941/ 1942 at the MG factory.

After the second World War this special car crossed ‘the pond’ to Canada with an experienced MG mechanic to start a new adventure. While he was prepared to depart from the UK, certainly not without his prized MG!! It remained in his personal possession until his death in the 1950s.

Subsequently, my father purchased the car from his Estate and stored it for the next 70 years in a dry barn. While it was always his intention to restore back to its original splendor during his retirement sadly it never happened.

It is now available again.

Asking $20,000 USD (or best offer).

Contact Trevor Townsend at trevor.d.a.townsend@gmail.com if you would like more photos and/or I can be reached in Canada at 416-524-1241 (EST – Eastern Standard Time).

WANTED – VA Saloon

Contact: Jeremy Fletcher Email: jezzer.fletcher@yahoo.com or call 07831 553980

Preference is the MG VA Saloon, but other models would happily be considered.
I’d prefer the car to be in good, very good or excellent condition, so that I have a relatively easy introduction to the world of classic cars and have time to learn as I go along.
I’m from the East Midlands, but happy to travel within the UK for the right car.
